I'm very happy to be a man, but if I woke up tomorrow in a girl's body, but had the same mind, then I'd be chill about it: "Eh, guess I'm living life as a girl, then."
I'd rather just live life as a hot girl than some 5'6 man with a vagina. Transitioning seems like a waste of time, money, and effort. And for what endgame?
It's like this: say I want a Lexus, but instead, I win a new BMW. They're both nice vehicles roughly equal in value, but I prefer the Lexus body style. So after I win the BMW, I customize the BMW to look like the Lexus. I take off the BMW logo and put on the Lexus logo. Now, I've just decreased the value of the car. Car experts are going to know it's not a Lexus. So, it'd be wiser to be content with the BMW as is.
There are two aspects to transgenderism that often people muddle together: there's identifying as/feeling like one is the opposite gender of their body, and then there's the actual physical act of transitioning.
The first, people have strong disagreements about. My stance is, regardless if trans is valid condition or not, I think the transitioning aspect is stupid.

This was my experience with transgender fools in LA County Jail. (Just to explain they segregate all the gay males in separate dorms so the straight guys won't **** the trannies and the gay guys won't rape the straight guys.)
Many, but not all, the trannies were undergoing hormonal treatments and had feminine breasts. But they still had penises and testicles. The ones I talked to were fine with their equipment since they could still orgasm.
So if I was a trannie, no way in hell would I let them mutilate my genitals. I would just keep what I have and dress up like Marilyn Monroe.
Bottom line, science cannot create artificial testes or ovaries which work like the real thing. They can splice a penis down the middle and sew it between some fool's thighs, but it's not a real working vagina.
So yeah, I agree with you. I have no problem with transgender fools. But I believe genital mutilation is criminal.

Not everyone chooses bottom surgery and not all can afford it
Jazz Jennings didn't like having male genitalia so she had the surgery and she showed her scars

Quite frankly the poor kid had her genitals mutilated to conform to a social construct. When we read she commits suicide some time in the next 20 years I will not be surprised. She let Doctor Frankenstein mutilate her body. There's just no nice way to say it.

That's like saying your nose bothers you so cut it off. It's bullshit.
If gender is a social construct like they try to tell us, then why have a doctor cut up healthy organs to match a social construct? There is no logic behind it.
She had her genitals mutilated because she was living up to other people's expectations of gender. I have no doubt that it will cause her immense psychological turmoil for the rest of her life. And I guarantee you, it will be a sad short life.

When she looked down, what she saw didn't match the rest of her. Girls don't have penises
She knew she was a girl ever since she was little. I don't really like the idea of mutilation either but look at how many women have their breasts cut into and have something false inserted
At least transgenders are trying to correct a genetic flaw rather than going under the knife because of vanity

Nettie, you and this unfortunate girl are following some political script written for you which is at odds with reality. Biology does not put "wrong" brains in the "wrong" bodies. If the organs work there is no reason to cut them up.
This is not comparable to a nose job or a breast enhancement. Nose jobs and boob jobs are the cosmetic altering of a body part. Cosmetic surgery is not the removal of a nose and turning it into gills. It's not turning a nose into a nonworking replica of something else.
Transgender theory says that all women are not born with vaginas. So lets say Jazz Jennings is a woman. If that's how she feels then great for her. She's a woman with a penis. It's supposedly a social construct that a creature with a penis is always male. So be it. She has been indoctrinated by a heterosexist society to believe she must have a vagina. Nobody told nature that.
If she had been abandoned as an infant and raised by wolves, she might feel like a female. But she would never think she shouldn't have a penis. That's a human social construct.
