Unintentionally funny scene?

The part where they're running from the killer, and Tyrell starts complaining that he's hungry, and starts searching for food in the kitchen. I've always wondered about this scene, if it was supposed to be funny or not. It's pretty ridiculous.

And the horny thing? Like. if you know there's a psycho killer on the loose, don't you think you'd lose your wood? Must be into necrophilia. I hope the families of his future patients were warned about his extreme kinkiness. I don't think County General would appreciate the kind of publicity a lawsuit like that would bring

Tyrell saying that was supposed to be funny because the entire time he was on the island all he wanted to do was beep Karla(Brandy) but everytime he was about to somebody would intrupt them and it was just a running joke.
"I'm beep horny" was him reminding the audience that he still hasn't gotten any lol
