It left me unconvinced about their reasons for the killing of both parents, especially their mother.

Yeah that was some vivid detail
I wonder if you ever manage get something like that out of your head.
I remember the case back when it happened and they were definitely portrayed as evil ****s who just wanted their parents money.

That was overkill, and there's generally deep hatred behind overkills unless it's a batshit insane serial or spree killer.
I don't think you ever get the brutal homicides out of your head. Mad props to crime scene workers, and clean up crew.
Did you ever see the film Sunshine Cleaning? -

I haven't seen that, I just looked it up though, is it a good watch?
I can't imagine doing that job and I often wonder about things like 911 and how horrific that must have been for those who had to clear the area afterwards.

Why did he wait so long to come forward about being molested? Didn't the Menendez brothers get convicted of these murders ages ago? Then again, back then, molestation may not have carried the same weight that it does today.
I know it takes victims a long time to process SA and feeling safe enough to come forward. He may have also felt afraid of the brothers.

There's a documentary on Netflix now entitled Monsters that is about the Menendez brothers. Is that the one to which you are referring? I mean, in addition to the one with Evan Peters (which is a different one). But there is also one on Netflix entitled The Menedez Brothers. So, there are two separate movies/docuseries about them going on now?
As far as the abuse, I think that people rarely take sexual abuse upon men or boys very seriously. They laugh about it and think men really want it or fantasize about it. It's really screwed up.
