That scene was so poignant and touching.
I normally don't LOVE family films, but this film was deeply moving. It was hilarious, scary, and had a very mature message to get across. You should never let your prejudices get in the way of seeing people for who they are.
The scene at the end where she goes to sleep next to him is so so SO beautiful. I never expected this film to touch me as deeply as it did.
    Hail to the king, baby.

One of the most beautiful scene in any animated movie, and really elevated this movie far above average.
Both visually and story-wise it was very powerful and had a great message. Not just the "don't judge" thing, but about forgiveness, and how we can and should still choose not to be the bad guy if we are different and were bullied or hurt. (X-Men and Frozen have the same premise, love those as well)

Yeah, I think the message is very important. I'm all for standing up to your bullies and defending yourself. That's something we DO need to teach our bullied youth, but with that said, I think we should always have a place in our hearts to forgive And if forgiveness isn't an option, at least be the better man.

Yes, in the film Agatha was read the same tale once a year for hundreds of years.
Why must Agatha be read the tale once a year? Why did people like Norman read the same tale once a year?

That scene really added immensely to this film's unexpectedly potent overall poignancy.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
