As a teen in the 1970s (I was born in 1959), I first noticed LM in various commercials. She had a special quality, no? Not just the splendid physique and the not-exactly-beautiful-but-very-interesting/appealing WAY-attractive looks, nor the deep, slightly husky, sexy voice. NOR the easily authoritative presence.
Nope, it was the combination of these qualities that made her so attractive, indeed magnetic. Had she been a better actress (and am NOT saying she was bad, just not exceptional), LM could have been a star.
Sure wis5b4h her all the best can't help wondering what she's doing now

I only really remember Lynette Mettey from a few episodes of Quincy - but every now and then she pops up in something else and is instantly recognised.
I have always depended on the kindness of Strangers - and the bastards let me down!
