That is the only thing about Nada I don't like in this movie. How could he not see Holly was in on it with the aliens all along? This was after she hit him in the head with a bottle and he rolled down the hill. Then he meets up with her at the resistance hideout only to accept her apology. She worked at Cable 54 where the Aliens broadcasted their transmission. She probably told the police and aliens where the resistance hideout was.

Just a guess, but I think Nada's inability to see that Holly was in on it symbolizes the way in which people can't accept the idea of, and refuse to see, grand style conspiracies involving large numbers of various, seemingly unconnected people.
From birth, we are taught by the controlled media and government education system that the idea of conspiracies is crazy, and that only paranoid people would consider them a possibility. If we dare make the mistake of publicly discussing theories about conspiracies, we are mocked and made fun of. So we end up not thinking about conspiracies, and are therefore incapable of seeing them even when they are right under our nose. And we will especially refuse to see that people we know and love, like friends and family, might be a part of or serving the agenda of the conspiracy.
Even people who can see the system for what it is, like Nada after he found the glasses, can have this blind spot. -
