If you follow his career he always works with his biggest star actors again. Like Uma, Samuel, Christoph, Harvey, Christopher, Steve, etc.
Has anyone thought about this? I just noticed this.

I can't remember the source, but I think that Travolta asked him to either write or direct Battlefield Earth and such an idiotic request would probably be enough to sour any relationship
