Released in 2018, Under The Silver Lake starred Andrew Garfield.
Garfield plays Sam who meets his new neighbour Sarah (Riley Keough) when she suddenly disappears.
Sam then embarks on an investigation to find out why Sarah disappeared.
What ensues with his investigation is a series of eerie things.
Under The Silver Lake refers to the name of a comic and somehow its narrative relates to Sarah’s disappearance.
More questions comes along but nowhere near comes answer and things aren’t made all the more clearer by the time the film reaches its end.
Under The Silver Lake boggles the mind and personally I am not really satisfied by its delivery. -

There is a lot going on but it adds up to less than the sum of its parts. Maybe it's that way because conspiracy theories are often like that. They seem broadly coherent but if you look closer it doesn't quite fit together. It's just a lot of coincidences or just strange things that happened in proximity and leaps in logic.
