It was one of my favorite films growing up. I saw it in the theaters twice.
The only poster who had his account banned 4 times without ever breaking any rules each of those times.

Just watched it for the first time and I have to say I loved it.
I loved the effects and the story and odd characters and the score. I even like the catchy song that bookends the movie.

My son ended up watching it with me because it was that good. At first he was on his laptop playing his game. Suddenly he starts commenting on the movie. Next thing he brings his laptop and moves from the dining room onto the sofa with me.

If you still enjoy it why on Earth would you want them to remake it? Especially having seen what they've done to SO many IPs through their awful remakes.
