Same, I really don't get the hate it receives. It's one of the better Disney sequels in my opinion

Yeah, it's good continuation of Aladdin, with the exception that it looked like they had gotten married at the end of the first one, but here they're still just dating.
But other than that, I like it. The songs are catchy, and Jafar's plan is wicked.
So many stories, so little time.
