Does anyone else think the opening music sounds like the opening music to the original Star Trek series.

to boldly go where no man has gone before.
Yes, especially the first tones reminded me to the theme music of Star Trek Enterprise TOS!
Made an online-research:
The Long-Ships-music was created by the serbian composer Dusan Radic (1929-2010).
The theme music of Star Trek TOS credited to the American Alexander Courage (1919-2008).
Music was also written for the first TOS episodes by the american composer Sol Kaplan (1919-1990)
They say though Sol Kaplan wrote only two scores for Star Trek his "music was tracked endlessly throughout the show's first two seasons". IMDb says the theme music of TOS is basically identical to the main title music for Hollow Triumph (1948) written by Sol Kaplan.

Yet, some music of 'Hollow Triumph' is supposed to originate from the Austrian Johann Strau (1825-1899).
Mmmm.who of the first three composer inspired whom?!
However, before we'll end up with Adam and Eve will watch one of my favourite TOS-episodes again "Troubles with Tribbles".though didn't see any purr-alien (cat) on The Long Ships.
tribbles!
