Garlic

Yep, yep. I like to roast whole peeled cloves in the oven, then mix in a little olive oil and softened butter which can be mashed up into a very tasty garlic paste. Keep in the fridge, use it to add to dishes, or can be spread on toasted French bread etc.
I also buy this Kyolic liquid garlic extract and add it to vegetable juice smoothies. Very tasty: -

How do you do this? I have seen roasted bulbs of garlic. We used to order them at this great restaurant we went to, pushing the roasty-toasty garlic out of the peels, and spreading it on bread. It's incredible how different roasted garlic tastes. It's also much easier on the stomach than raw garlic. I'm very sad that I've had to decrease my garlic intake. I seem to be okay with garlic powder, however. Either way, the garlic "after effect" sticks around either way.

I'm not crazy about it and use it very sparingly.
A friend of mine made some hummus once, and went overboard on the garlic. It turned me off of garlic for life lol I still remember how the smell lingered in her refrigerator. -

I know how that is. I've had similar experiences with other foods, or with alcohol. All it takes is one bad encounter and you can be put off for life.
That is a drawback to garlic. Everything in the fridge will remind you that you made a garlic dish.
