    Richard Cadbury
    Russell Stover
    Phil Snickers
    Fact of the Day
The longest kiss ever recorded lasted 58 hours, 35 minutes and 58 seconds.
    Today in History
    February 14, 1929
The St. Valentine's Day Massacre took place in a Chicago garage as seven rivals of Al Capone's gang were gunned down.
    Answer:
The tradition of gifting chocolate on Valentine's Day began with a dedicated marketing campaign by Richard Cadbury. Richard Cadbury, son of Cadbury founder John Cadbury, created the first heart-shaped box of chocolates for Valentines Day. A marketing genius, Cadbury began putting Cupids and rosebuds on heart-shaped boxes in 1861. Thus, began the common link between chocolate and Valentines Day. A new tradition had begun. Each year, over 36 million heart-shaped boxes of chocolates are sold around the world.
