    I can believe this about the United States. While in the Army in the mid 70s, my friend, a supply sergeant, informed me of the ridiculous expenses. $8.00 per one roll of toilet paper??? We aren't talking Charmin! This was the mid 70s!
    Office supplies??? INSANITY! I can only imagine what the costs are now.

      They don't call it the American Empire for nothing. We have over 700 military bases scattered over the globe (some in countries that don't even want us there). At last count, Russia had 21 military bases in other countries. Who's the greater threat to world peace?

            We've avoided full scale global conflict all these years for that very reason. The moment either Russia or China believe they have the means, they'll try to take down the west.
