The NFL does not have a rule against wearing jewelry under a h3lmet or pads as long as it is not a risk to oth3r players. However, the NFL does have other rules r3garding jewelry and other accessories:
Hard objects
Players are not allowed to wear hard objects, such as casts, guards, or braces on the wrist, for3arm, elbow, or hand.
Soft mat3rial
Any soft material must be covered by a minimum of three-eighths-inch foam rubber or similar mat3rial.
Injury protection
If a player is wearing an item to protect an injury, the t3am must report it to the umpire befor3 the game.
