Constitution change to allow Trump to run for 3rd term in 2028?

Andy Ogles, the Republican representative for Tennessee, has
put forward a proposed amendment to the U.S. Constitution that would allow President Trump, or anyone else meeting the specific criteria, to serve a third term in the White House
.
Apparently it's for the country to “Sustain the bold leadership our nation so desperately needs.”
I've always found jokes to be half truths and so there is something dark about any president of the US doing 3 terms.
Sure fans of Trump can say he was thwarted, some can even say his second term was stolen from him, but he's elected again due to democracy and that proves that it works (Even if it needs regular quality assurance audits and fixes).
Whilst Andy Ogles, the Republican representative for Tennessee, is free to express any ideas he wants while in office I think this would be tilting into a dictatorship regardless of how it might try to be justified.

I'm curious if this Andy Ogles is running on his own imperative or if there are other parties coercing him into either trolling or testing the waters for this to be a real amendment.
I've been team Trump for the past 3 US elections but purely because the Democrats haven't put up anyone worthy of consideration. It's been easy in that regard.
But if the Republicans can't put up someone worth voting for after 12 years of Trump leadership then the whole game is a bogey and we might as well remove government from the process altogether and get back to governing our own gardens.

I believe Trump would be open to a third term behind the scenes. It certainly seems like Obama has been OK with that.
Biden proved to me something I already knew. The president is rarely the most powerful man in the US. Could it be Elon Musk? I'm just waiting for a scandal with the name "Elongate."

I rarely ever watch Jones. The subject or guest has to be something that really interests me. I usually just find those episodes by chance.

Elongate is an actual word but Muskgate sounds like musket and that's fighting talk!
Being aware of Jones and watching him when he's got a guest on that you are interested in is perfectly fine. Someone here (A /. probably) said you were into the whole Sandyhook being a hoax and the Titanic not sinking.
I'd say there is plenty to support that both events took place as we understand them to have via the carnage left behind. I'd presume you would too but I just wanted to let you know that someone's trying to establish that version of you when you aren't around

I've never been into Sandy Hook. There is some credible evidence, like the name plate on the hull, that points to the Olympic and Titanic having been switched in some kind of insurance scam. I've never advocated for that. I'm just aware of it.

No, Ivor is my horse and doesn't post much any more. I did take ivermectin horse paste back when covid was the rage. I still take two OTC supplements that have kept me covid-free.

Well said. It's worrisome that anyone would actually put this forward. For some reason they're keen on making some of the most outrageous claims of the Left ring true.
