I'm sure you can tell by the title of this thread I'm not a techie person. What do you call a generic iPad?
Anyway, I keep seeing ads for a product that converts from a laptop with keyboard to a tablet (is that the term) with Windows, and they then show how you can play Xbox anywhere with it. They show two men sitting in a child's car bed playing on it.
Can anyone give advice and opinion on this type of thing? Our son (age ten) had one of the first iPads, which he no longer uses. Instead he uses his father's iPad. He also uses his father's work issues laptop, and has really messed things up at times. I was thinking if this thing I mentioned was good then it might be a nice gift for him. He needs something like a laptop to do some schoolwork online. It's easier with a keyboard. And then he likes the iPad with apps. Also, he has a Xbox 360, and it would be nice if he could play that somewhere other than our living room tv. (He doesn't have a tv in his room.)
Does anyone know if this is a good product? Is there one that allows remote okay on both Xbox 350 and PlayStation 4? He's getting the PS4 for Christmas from his grandparents. If so, it would kill a lot of birds with one stone, so to speak. He already has an iPhone for all that he can do with it. Also, he needs to learn keyboarding for school next year.

No one has one or an opinion on this type of thing?
