I was just thinking about this. My mom has a fixation on "looking French" that she's proud of, and it's a bit Christina like. My mom and my brother have dark hair, and she says French people approached them in New York and asked if she spoke French. And French people at a hotel also asked if she spoke French once.

I don't know how many times she's told this story now.
-We are not French.
-They get their hair and looks from Grandma's Danish heritage.
-The French are savages.
-The French killed 7x great grandpa in a war!!!
-I don't get it
-Our actual family heritage is way cool and worth celebrating.
