dr. King preached and lived and died a life of total non-violent civil disobedience against blatantly unjust laws. i dont see how the immigration laws are unjust on their face. if the law is applied discriminately or if the procedure strips away existing constitutional rights, then you have an unjust situation and i personally think peaceful protests are perfect.
but these yaboos on the top of burning vehicles as " heroes"? plueezzzz. i think they dont want to go back to their ancestral ****hole homes in many cases.
the violence which malcolm-X advocated has been adopted by these rioters, i'm not giving them any moral high ground status by labelling them " protesters." see if you can find online the UNEDITED talk that Malcolm gave during 1965 or 1966 or 1967. It's titled " the ballot or the bullet" and he makes a sharp contrast between continuing on simply voting, and getting nowhere; or taking up arms and having Revolution #3: if the majority white population is only paying " lip service" to our struggle, then maybe we need to shoot off some lips to change the political calculus.
as far as i know, X's family has blocked the full version and only permits a edited, " safe for woke" version. i could be wrong. the printed text is out there; but you must hear his words, his voice; and then listen to King's orations and see what direction america went in. but now professional agitprops have created on all sides violence as the default solution
