Some people believe in Pangea, a mythical land that was said to have combined all the landmass on Earth into one big supercontinent.

No. There's no way scientists can know the random plate movements over millions and millions of years.

            A child spotted this
Further analysis of mineral content supports this theory.
The presumption is that this is what has happened (Three times over now)

They were obviously connected at some point but how can they know three times and trace the history back hundreds of millions of years and say all continents were connected?

The three times angle is a contested one Slash dot
However there is enough mineral contamination across various stratum to suggest that certain sedimentary layers were joined a very long time ago, remerged long after, separated and merged with other areas, remerged with roughly where they were originally and separated again.
It's purely hypothetical as there is no way of knowing how it all happened without being able to time travel but there's enough to support the suggestion. There are other ideas as to how it came to be this way too. I'm only putting forward the one that I think best makes sense.
But Pangea did exist at least once. And as this thread shows that concept isn't easy to reconcile for some so doing it three times is batshit crazy to more than a few people.
But if we look at the cyclical nature of everything, the Earth having repeated motion (Like a heartbeat) isn't too crazy
