And that **** is huge in Louisiana. LSU is like a cult. So many of them look like they're wearing a uniform. Looks like someone copied and pasted the same white guy with a baseball cap, LSU fishing shirt/tee/polo, sunglasses, and khaki shorts.

I don't mind casually playing or even watching them. It's the way it's treated like religion that irks me.

same in ohio, especially in columbus. it's cancer. talking about OSU football is a regular thing in small talk and you might get treated differently if you don't express pride for the football team.

Yeah, I know my ex used to get dirty looks for wearing a Michigan hoody in Ohio, so I know it's just as bad there.
It's the way it becomes someone's whole personality. I've seen houses with LSU colors on the garage door… and a lot of people have those tiger tails they hang out their car trunks lol.

It’s still less annoying than the Alphabet community who keeps trying to police language and trans the kids.

Good news. LSU is losing at halftime
I only watch college football and a lot of that is linked to my family always watching it when I was growing up. I'm not really interested in the NFL whatsoever (plus both of Ohio's teams suck), haven't kept up with basketball in years and baseball puts me to sleep. Soccer is interesting on the few occasions when I've seen it, but it's not really a huge deal here.
I think I own one OSU hoodie. I actually have more for Ohio University and Marshall.

I was into football briefly when the Saints were doing well and then won the Superbowl. I love an underdog story. It eventually got frustrating to watch, and the passion wasn't there.
See, my family watching it is probably a reason I don't like it lol.
