Truth be told, it was something of an uneventful weekend for college football with top-ranked Ohio State and 2nd-ranked Penn State (both Big Ten) both having a bye week.
Elsewhere in the Big Ten, 21st-ranked scUM was able to barely hold on against unranked Nebraska, 19th-ranked Indiana defeated 9th-ranked Illinois in humiliating fashion, as did 6th-ranked Oregon in their win over Oregon State (Pac-12). Maryland and Washington also remained undefeated. As of this writing, the conference game between 25th-ranked USC and Michigan State is ongoing.
It was nice to see Notre Dame, who are inexplicably ranked 21st, finally get their first win four weeks into the season, despite giving up 30 points to unranked Purdue
Over in the ACC, Coach Bill Belichoke's North Carolina Tard Heels lost their second game of the season to unranked UCF and the Clemson Paper Tigers (who began the season ranked 4th) fell to 1-3 on the season with their loss to - I **** you not - Syracuse!

Meanwhile in the ASS-EC, the Florida Gaytors - who began the season ranked 15th - were defeated for the
third time
this season, this time by Miami (ACC), while the South Carolina Gaycocks - who were ranked 11th last week - fell to unranked Missouri

Congratulations to the Ohio Bobcats and the Cincinnati Bearcats on their victories!
