Not exactly. Her campaign asked for both Obama's and McCain's. After Obama provided the short form in 2008, Hillary's campaign never spoke of it again.

Yeah, it's sort of dumb that Obama couldn't just get a birth certificate. Intelligence agencies and law enforcement fabricate this stuff all the time.
There did seem to be a lack of people who corroborated Barrack and Michelle's background story. But I guess that all became moot when they made that movie. As we all know, once there is a mainstream movie or documentary, it's canon and that's what everyone thinks they remember going forward.
