July, 2014: HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS is now available on DVD in a set titled "15 Horror Movies" from Echo Bridge Home Entertainment. The box housing the two DVDs does not list any titles, so if you see it in a bargain bin grab it, or order it because this is the ONLY way at this time to get this classic TV movie on DVD. The last release for this film was on VHS from Starmaker/Anchor Bay in 1991.

If it's an Echo Bridge release, though, the quality will be crappy.
It will probably be a 3 dvd set with 5 films on each .All of them blurry as hell.

I found this film on a compilation dvd called 8 Midnight Horror Movies. The set also features The Faculty and Teaching Mrs. Tingle among others. The film is in very good condition.

Thanks for the info. I still have a clamshell VHS I've kept for years that I got on eBay. Just ordered the set on Amazonexcited to see this again. Weird that it was thrown in with all these random flicksa really bad print of "Curtains" also appeared like this too at some point.

I have the Echo Bridge DVD that features this TV movie along with four other films with The Shadows being predominantly displayed on the DVD cover art.
You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
