Especially Jawbreaker, Green Day, and NOFX. Lamest, most corporate pop punk band.
Their most famous song was basically Mark trying to play JAR from Green Day and sucking. That's confirmed by Mark… or maybe Tom.
I don't really listen to or like Blink, but I feel like I've heard them play something that copies this. Not sure if its the exact riff or just really similar.

That does sound like Blink. I'm seeing a lot of similarities to this song, especially.

It's not worth getting annoyed over IMO. The major labels rarely take risks, so a lot of popular music will be derivative of something someone else did better years or even decades before. At their best, the most popular bands serve as something as a gateway drug to help some of their fan base discover these earlier artists. (Think Bob Dylan's "Song to Woody" or - not that either of them were particularly commercially successful - the Replacements' "Alex Chilton"; it is a problem when bands refuse to acknowledge their influences.)

As a fan of both Blink and Green Day growing up, I can be objective and admit Blink is horrible musically.
Both Green Day and Blink 182 started out as trios. Green Day evolved and matured musically, having touring musicians fill in for live shows. Blink never did.
I saw them both live at the Pop Disaster tour. And Green Day ended up embarrassing them on that tour. In this tour, Blink 182 was the headliner, and then played after Green Day (what a joke) as they were technically the bigger band at this time.
Whoever put this tour together, perhaps thought it sounded awesome on paper; they're both trios, they're both pop-punk, and the two biggest bands to come out of the 90s. Let's put them together. It didn't quite pan out.
Green Day came out, and they played a 2 hour set and killed it. They had a 2nd guitar player, a keyboard player, and for one song they brought out three horn players. They sounded close to the studio recordings. It was a full sound.
Blink comes out, just the three of them, no touring musicians, and whenever a song required additional instruments like a 2nd guitar and keyboard, they used a backing track. Tom opens with "Anthem Part II," and immediately, something's off - he sucks at live singing. There set was only 45 minutes.
These two bands have never spoken to each other since.
                Never lose your desire.
