I don't even like them anymore. I was just real big on 90's nostalgia that year.
Also into existential philosophy. A friend's sister gave me Nietzsche's Birth of Tragedy & The Genealogy of Morals book 2 years prior, and Beyond Good and Evil was the first one I bought.

Wanted to learn the language. It's part of my heritage. Also wanted to eventually read Nietzsche's books in German. Never did lol. I mean I know some phrases.

I used them to backup my files mostly, but I might've did some of that too
I started using external drives to store stuff shortly after that time, so I don't have much use for DVDs now.
Those discs haven't seen the light of day in years…lol…I don't remember what I have on them.
