Archived from the IMDb Discussion Forums — Displays and Projectors

    Hii…
I'm looking at getting three screens for racing (and other games) but I was considering picking up a 4k monitor as my center, and then 2x 1080's either side. Could I possibly stretch the res out to benefit from the extended screen displays or would that simply not work?
    Thanks!
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

      Hii…
W1080st and HT2150st owner here. And I'm wondering what plans benQ has in the near future using the newer(not new anymore) ti dlp chip technology?
I mean, come on. Optoma 4k dlp units are selling like crazy, especially the 65.And from what I understand, Optima is delivering a short throw version of the 65 very soon.
Why are you dropping the ball benQ? I don't want to spend $8k on a projector.
      Thanks!

        Hii…
Cheap around $150 USD. I need to connect my TV to a 2.1 speakers. the receiver must have a hdmi in and out . And can decode DTS audio.
I do not want to buy a soundbar because I also want to hook my PC to the speakers through the receiver.
Anything like this on the market?
        Thanks!

          Hii…
Does anyone knows something about BCK switching transformers like this one, with built in fuses?
In the pdf PSU circuit diagram, theres no fuse, but another coil in series with TB901 primary neither.
          What do u think?
          Thanks!

            Hii…
Quick question for you. The Trust where I work is undertaking some lagging work on a single storey building with flat roof and currently no edge protection (the contractors is assessing those risks and producing method statements etc), I have been asked to determine if they should install edge protection/guardrails to the perimeter of the roof top whilst they are there.
            Thanks!
