I do not think Maria is ungrateful at all. You would be bitter too, if Roger Corman took advantage of your work. He released features, containing Maria, with dates that don't coincide with her arrival in Hollywood. Regardless of how old she is, she is in great shape, she has the chops, and why is it such a big deal for an actress to switch gears and go forward with her career outside the B scene?
Maria is currently working on projects that support the new direction of her career. She is under new management that is extremely reputable and professional and will not accept projects containing nudity as she has done in the past. Her representation is guiding her into more of the mainstream. Albeit a challenge, Maria does have the talent and motivation to compete on that level. She continues to study and perfect her art.
It's nice to see other people support her!
