U.S.- Millions of Americans took to the street on Saturday to express to the world their
total ignorance
about the political system they live in.
"The world needs to know how incredibly little we know,"
said local man Roger McMahon, who had joined the march.
"I really do not think the greater population appreciates how completely uneducated and illiterate we are when it comes to our own political system.
Local woman Barbara Samson added
"It feels incredible to be part of this movement of telling people I'm a real dullard."
At publishing time, the rest of the world had politely told the rallygoers that the message had been received.

This is what happens when you remove civics from basic schooling and send in crappy "social studies" teachers to tell the kids about how the US govt. works. Part of the reason civics was removed from the school curriculum after the 60s was because of all the protesting, because people realized the modern US govt. was disobeying their own laws and seizing power. It's far easier to seize power and ignore the law to do what you want if the populace doesn't even know you're doing it.
