In a Berlin S&M studio, a man severed another man's penis with a hunting knife.
Now he stood trial in Austria.

A German man living in Austria assisted in a penis amputation at a Berlin S&M studio and was sentenced to
3 years in prison. The regional court in Klagenfurt (Austria) found the 39-year-old guilty of aggravated assault.
The defendant from Traunstein in Bavaria is to be placed in a center for offenders with mental illnesses.
The verdict isn't yet legally binding.
Defendant previously cut off his own Penis
"Since my youth, I've had the desire to be genderless and not have a penis,"
the defendant said. He was a

, he told the court, neither male nor female. According to the public prosecutor, the inner turmoil led him to cut off two-thirds of his own genitals with a razor blade in 2013. An expert witness stated that the man also previously cut off a finger, several toes and his nipples.
After the man came across a website for like-minded individuals online, he was invited to Berlin in 2019 for the amputation, the prosecutor explained. A rape was then staged in the S&M studio, followed by the procedure.

The Amputee declined to make a Statement
The 39-year-old confessed to the act. He claimed he was unaware that penis amputation was prohibited for non-medical professionals. According to his statement, the man who underwent the amputation in Berlin wanted to have his penis removed himself.
"I wanted to do something nice for him,"
