Last two seasons of the original run. She turns into a wimp, always moping about Mulder. And they always play some terrible theme music for her moping.

I thought it was revealed that William was the Cigarette Smoking Man's son and so he's Mulder's half-brother since it was also revealed that the Cigarette Smoking Man is also Mulder's father. Those mythology episodes got really bad.
