Right? I actually think that Ford pardoning Nixon may have been the biggest mistake in US history. It set the precedent that presidents can never be held accountable for anything. As a result, most presidents since Nixon have been more corrupt than he could have ever dreamed of.
If Watergate happened today, it would be forgotten within a week.
