and orders the Disgorgement of EUR 59 million in economic Benefits
The Bundeskartellamt today prohibited Amazon.com Inc. (Seattle, USA) and Amazon EU S.Ć r.l. (Luxembourg) - in the following collectively referred to as
"Amazon"- from engaging in the practice of influencing the prices charged by sellers on the German Amazon Marketplace. In future, Amazon may use mechanisms to control seller prices only in exceptional cases, particularly in instances of excessive pricing, and in accordance with the requirements set by the Bundeskartellamt.
