Yes I am using my other account. I saw your topic because this account does not have you blocked. I am hungry. I like pasta. I hate Trump.
Problem?
You have many more accounts which didn't block me.
Enough space for more bananarama-drama.
🤪
Eat more pasta, especially for breakfast.
Iss, Kind…ist so gesund. -

Correct. I hardly use them so no need to go through each one blocking your nonsense.
And for this Lala-message you bumped this old thread?

Amis
back down
No Super Tariffs on Italian Pasta after all

The USA wanted to impose a super tariff of up to 107% on Italian pasta.
Now the White House reversed course. The super tariff is no longer a threat.
The USA is backing down on the pasta super tariff.
The initial US-American announcement that it would impose tariffs of up to 107% on certain
Italian pasta producers starting in January 2026 was a severe blow to the industry.
Now, the plan was reversed: no more super tariffs, but only 2.25% for pasta products from La Molisana, 13.98% for Garofalo and 9.09% for other manufacturers, including Barilla. This is in addition to the regular 15% tariff that applies to most imports from the EU.
Lollobrigida: "We chose the right Path."
Agriculture Minister Francesco Lollobrigida expressed his satisfaction with the development:
"The good news from the USA proves that serious work without unnecessary panic bears fruit,"
he stated.
"Back in October, when we were in Chicago with Ambassador Marco Peronaci, we sent a clear signal:
Italy would not abandon its pasta producers."
He emphasized:
"Today we know that we chose the right path and that tariffs have been significantly reduced."

Italy
is the pasta winner!
Although I suspect that gilded spaghetti now hang from the lamps in $Trump's new ballroom.
Heute Hü und morgen Hott,
und weiter im $Trump's Schweinsgalopp.
