I was not sure where to post this so I figured I'd start here.
I read a book awhile ago..maybe over a decade ago about two college roommates who lose touch over the years until one gets engaged and calls the other out of the blue to meet her fiancee and have a reunion. The fiancee as it turns out is crazy and only after the woman's money but the friend can't get her ex college roommate to believe her. I even remember the character names. The crazy fiancee is Robert, the single roommate Stacy and the engaged roommate is either Elise, Elain or Eloise. They went to school in NYC, I think to NYU University. It was a really good book but I am having a hard time tracing it so if anyone has any info about title please post it.
