    I remember seeing it the first time on cable. Chilling! there are a couple of movies where Venice is shown in a bad light, creepy, menacing.
    If you can’t say something nice, say something clever but devastating.

        Great creepy factor without ridiculous uncalled for violence. Another for a rewatch!

          I avoid the super violent bloody stuff, too.
          The Crazies - military/government screw up causes mass insanity. Lots of tension and suspense. Timothy Oliphant as sheriff in a small town trying to get to a solution.
          Come Play - just very scary and was a brain worm for me. You see the situation from the little boy's perspective as well as the mother's. Made my skin crawl.
          Each of these could have been a 2 hour special presentation of The X-Files with Mulder and Scully working the cases.
