I fell back asleep, but then I started dreaming I was in Resident Evil 7. 😧

        The Beginner's Guide

        • Previously Recorded just uploaded a video where they talk about a number of games, this being one of the last ones. I wasn't particularly interested in it (though I'd hurt Extra Credits recommend it a while ago), but remembered that I had it in my Steam library (don't even remember where I got it from) and didn't want it spoiled. Quite enjoyed the game. Didn't know it was from the Stanley's Parable guy. Personally didn't care much for Stanley's Parable. I can appreciate the work behind the game and all that, but it never did anything for me.
It was pretty obvious almost immediately that it wasn't the work of someone else. I mean, the textures alone weren't even possible for triple-a developers with pockets full of money, so no way for some bedroom programmer to do the same. Not to mention the music, sound effects, and a slew of other things I'm too lazy to list.
Despite all of that, though, the story was still very intriguing and captivating. I'd definitely recommend it if you're in any way interested in walking simulators.

Hitman: S1 - I guess I'm a story nut, because a party bag full of contracts across six levels doesn't thrill me. As a Hitman game, it plays great, but when I'm just picking (often annoying) challenges off a list, it feels like the same as causing random mischief in a GTA game: funny for like an hour tops.

          Listen to
          Iced Earth
          and play
          Doom
