Zimmer's plan was for All-Pro Zavier Rhodes to shadow Nelson all game. Well the Vikings DBs took it upon themselves not to follow that plan. In the first half Rhodes played right corner instead of covering Nelson. They decided old man Terrance Newman and the terrible Trae Waynes would cover him.
In the 1st half Nelson caught 7 passes for 145 yds and 2 TDs. When Rhodes shadowed him in the 2nd half he had 2 catches for 9 yds.
Good call beep You most likely lost the game.
You are welcome Packers fans.

How does something like this happen? How did Zimmer not correct this during the game when he saw what was going on? Those guys are idiots and should be suspended, why did they do that? This doesn't make any sense.

That shouldn't have been allowed to go on after one play. They let them ignore the coaches' calls for the entire half? It's hard to imagine that happening on a High School team, much less an NFL team.
