Do sports teams lose money in the playoffs when they sweep?

In a best-of-seven series, the team manager of both teams has to reserve 7 dates at an arena/stadium, well ahead of time, and pay for reserving it (3 for one team, 4 from the other).
It can be a lot of money to reserve it, because you’re preventing other acts from touring on that date that could potentially bring in millions.
Say a team sweeps in 4 games. Does that mean the organizations are out 3 dates they’ve rented? Obviously they don’t get the money back.
Surely teams want to win in 4 or 5 if they can; but the silver lining to going 7 is your team and city get more money. -

They lose ticket sales in that particular series, but by advancing into the next round, they ensure more games to be played, with higher ticket prices in each successive series, so it is wiser to advance as early as possible, than to risk not advancing at all.
