Two months? By the time the finals come around I'm no longer interested. Not only does it get boring but it provides more opportunities for injuries. A best of five series would tell us just as much about who the better team is as a best of seven series.

Baseball as well.
I agree for both of these sports that best out of 5 would be just fine.
It probably all comes down to money for the leagues. More games, more$$$.
