Social Experiments You Conduct (or would LIKE to conduct)

When I was in Australia (and other places), I would turn off my phone, and talk, knowing people would perk up hearing my American accent (while I observed). Sometimes I'd go off on tangents. Sometimes I'd talk truth, and when I was wanting to have fun, I'd make **** up. I wish I would have said something like, "Dude, don't piss me off. I did 10 years for murdering you-know-who." Or I'd "talk" movies with the same **** I say on boards, "Only ****ing morons like movies from the last 40 years".
I just remembered a time I saw a beautiful woman about my age at the state library (aka - backpackers library) and asked her if I could have a cigarette, even though I really didn't want one. "Sure, if you roll it" she said.
Sometimes I'd speak in another language.. I really wish I would have gone up to random people, pretending NOT to speak English and see if they'd say something in English, not thinking I'd understand.
On Yahoo boards, I'd test conformity and was confirmed. I'd say one thing, and up-vote it 5 times, and then monitor, and see that same trend for the most part. I'd then say the same exact thing (usually political), down-vote it 5 times, and then 90% of them were down-voted. Sometimes I'd add comments, almost in a way to shame people for thinking a certain way. Not to make them uncomfortable, but to make them think.
Today, I was at Krogers, and while I was waiting, I observed. And once again, I saw my aunt and her husband and didn't want to say hello, and so I avoided them, and when our paths came close, I'd look the other way, with a HUGE laugh on my face…. However, there were some big breasted women, and I didn't look away. Usually I wear sunglasses and stare. I was actually thinking earlier, "Maybe I should start drinking again and engage in more of this fun"
I've always fantasized doing experiments to show the disparity between name and actual content. For example, taking a no-name musician like myself, but have it released with a popular name, say Paul McCartney. And then doing the reverse; taking Paul's music and putting it out under a band with cult status, and see what happens. I have a feeling people would project and just look for ways to applaud the conformist approach, as opposed to being objective. Of course, it would be instrumental music (the vocal alone would give it away).
Speaking of movies again, I'd call random numbers, starting with my prefix, and then going from 1900, 1901, and so on. At first, I'd say "Hi. I was wondering, what is your favorite movie?" No one ever answered it, and instead would ask (scared) "WHO IS THIS?". Then I did another experiment similar on the hypothesis that if I were to say "This is Mike, and I'm calling with the University of ….." as if it was a class assignment. I still remember some of the answers. "Its a Wonderful Life", "300", and some "Madea" ****.
I'd also something else on the phone. I'd call, and if a man picked up, I'd pretend like I wasn't expecting HIM (let him think his woman his cheating on him), and say "Oh, uh, I got the wrong number". If a woman picked up, I'd say, "Hi, wanna talk?" - which is a foreign concept in this day. If it was an answering machine, I'd say, "Hey its me, call me back ASAP"
I do a ton more via Craigslist, chat rooms. In a political chat room, I'd use multiple names, say the same exact thing, but, I'd use opposite names. For example, "TrumpFan3733" and then a week later, "ClintonFan4988" and it was SO funny to see how inconsistent and assuming people were. Which gives me a new idea. I should take a screenshot (or cum-shot) and if someone were to say, "No way I ever said that", I'd put that photo on my avatar for EVERYONE to see.
I'm sure I'll think of more, but will leave it to all you creative people. Maybe give us some ideas?
