I read these articles because I use 5G WiFi. I don't believe it carries the same threat as the cell version, but I'd like to hear from someone who knows the difference.

They may not cause cancer, but they do cause explosion depending on the circumstances. I heard a teenager left the phone under her pillow for a certain time while it's being charged and it exploded, killing her in her sleep. It's insane. Especially people not taking care of their devices properly otherwise there would be fatal injury. I was a bit surprised how a small thing can be the most damaging.
One thing I learned in computer science class is that think of devices as a living thing, they do need to "breathe" once in a while or the pressure will build to the point of permanent damage. For example, never leave your laptop on soft area like on your bed for too long or it will over heat and cause internal damages in your laptop because the fabric can block the airflow filter at the bottom of the laptop. Leave devices on hard surface like nightstand or computer desk. I remember I was told not to put desktop computer in closed space with the door like what you see on the computer desk with a part where you put it in, but instead leave it out to breathe, like on the side of the desk or on the floor beside the desk but only on the hard floor.
I hope a bear throw a book at you, moon at you, and do a tap dance wearing a thong and leather boots.
