I just found a bottle of tequila from 2013 in my kitchen cabinet that's 3/4 full. I had a shot today.
I am not a drinker. Even when I try to have a beer in the afternoon, by midnight it's still full. I can't finish it. I end up gulping it the next morning so I don't waste it.
I prefer stimulants, not depressants. I would rather feel energized, focused, and motivated. Also, alcohol tastes bad. It has its place in social settings, the only time it tastes good. If you're out with friends and you have a few drinks once every few months, it's fine. But drinking alone is pointless.
The only time drinking at home would be fun if it's just you and your wife, and you're both watching a Friday the 13th marathon on TV, and both off work tomorrow, and you want to get drunk together.
I was never really a drinker. I used to drink a lot in college, but just on normal college student level, only when I went out. I rarely ever drank alone. I'm not one of those people who needs a "cold one" from the fridge. When I drank in my early 20s it was once-a-month binge drinking to get drunk.
I am addicted to you; I have tasted your mind, and I cannot forgo its flavor.
