Scotch eggs aren't worth the effort in my opinion Bobby but a nice quiche sounds good.
They aren't the hardest to make but will require practice before you present one at a picnic. Maybe just buy one already made as that will be easier.
Some bread, cheese, pate, olives, roasted peppers and nuts make for a good picnic
Maybe some wine if you are allowed to drink outside where you are (Not allowed in Scotland
)
But generally just play it by ear and have a couple of quid in your pocket for anything that might need purchasing.
It's all about relaxing and taking in the day

I’m not sure if we can drink outside or not but I think that we must be able to because Padgett is always sat drinking a can of Special Brew outside like in parks or the local cemetery and he never gets told off.

I might get scotch eggs and chicken drumsticks and sausage rolls and Kit Kats and some Blue Ribbons.
