Hi, I remember this movie I watched maybe in the early '90-s when I was a kid. It's about a woman, I think she might be from Canada but I'm not sure, who lives alone. She is in her late thirties/early forties, I believe, and she accepts a fake marriage with some guy from either Turkey or some Middle-eastern/North African Islamic country after a friend talked her into it. It's to help him obtain a residence permit and not get deported. The only thing I remember about him is that he had a large mustache.
Their life together is non-existent at first (I remember that she barely forced herself to kiss him at the wedding). They almost don't talk, sleep in separate bedrooms, etc. But after some time they grow closer and maybe even become a real couple in the end, I can't say for sure since I watched it ages ago.
