I'm thinking of proposing to my GF, but I need some feedback on whether or not we are financially ready. We live in Ventura County, California. I'm 20 and make $23 and hour as an ARC welder, while she's 19 and makes $11 an hour as a software receiving supervisor in an electronics store. Between the two of us we make about $5,200 a month.
Thoughts???
