Well it's a good thing that you don't patron at those posh venues where it is cash only. Once I went inside an ice cream shop. I pulled out my card to pay and was told they only accept cash payments.
There was a sign there as well. I was like wtf? and I walked out empty handed. -

Because technology malfunctions. Technology gets hacked.
Because Google spies on your purchases and sells the information to their sponsors.
You obviously must not be that important to advertisers and companies because you would get all various ads marketed to you based upon your purchase history. -
