I love this so much. I read the synopsis and thought it's going to be like Konosuba which I don't like at all, but it turned out to be so much better.
It has everything. It's funny when it supposed to be. It's dark and thrilling with excellent animation and lovable characters. -

Watched several episodes, it's just another harem anime and Subaru is beyond annoying, a massive whiny prick on numerous occasions. It claims to be parody of the generic fantasy anime, but it suffers from the same cliches.

I made a separate topic about this, so I'm kinda piling on, but after only seeing 3 episodes, I completely agree, especially about the "parody" aspect spilling into being what's supposedly mocking.
I've never been a big fan of the "harem" concept, but I have to say that Subaru is indeed the most annoying character I've seen in anime, or anything, in a long time.

I felt the same way at the start, but still gave it a chance. Now I'm on the last episode that's aired and gotta say this is some VERY good stuff. I'd strongly recommend that you continue watching, as it turns out to be much better than you'd expect.
