What a boring, uninspired garbage heap of a movie

Saw this today, investing more than half my day into this garbage. The only positive aspect of this movie is Leon Dicaprio, who appeared to be asleep or heavly drugged up for most of it. 3.5 hours of something that could have easily been a 40 minute episode of a weekly serialized procedural crime drama, this movie just didn't do anything for me.
Was really surprised to see that dead eyed Opie, Todd from Breaking Bad, in this, who just keeps getting fatter and fatter to Fugazi levels. Next up for him: playing the role of the Hindenburg or the Goodyear Blimp, I guess.
It wasn't a terrible movie, just not that interesting and way too long considering they didn't have even close to 2 hours of content let alone 3.5 hours. I stepped out for 30 minutes halfway through and when I came back it's like I hadn't missed anything important and picked right back up.

I knew it had no appeal for me so I waited to see it on $5 day at the theater.
I wonder why they don't have $1 theaters anymore? We used to have several years ago but they all mysteriously burned down and they never reopened.

Don't get me wrong, it wasn't a hard movie to watch or anything, it just didn't appeal to me and didn't have a lot going on imo. It was pretty generic. No great dialogue was exchanged and it just wasn't that memorable as it was all laid out before your eyes and no none of the characters were the least bit interesting. It was still easier to watch than the 2nd half of Oppenheimmer and his trial or whatever it was.

Daytime is generally considered to be 8 hours. I was at the theater for 4 hours to see this, from start time with previews to credits it was 4 hours.
