I've just finished the series. On the whole I enjoyed it, but personally I was horrified by the cameo parts of most of the characters. I admit, I found many parts very emotional, and other parts left me very disappointed. I wasn't sure I'd finish the series after the winter episode, as it was, in my opinion, lacking. It all felt very forced, and I agree, that the whole series, for the most part, felt like actors reading lines in rehearsal. Having said this, I hope that the actors, and indeed the writers, find their passion again to give us another series given the cliff hanger they've left us with.

I agree with all of this. I didn't love the revival, but I still want more. Hopefully they got all the awkwardness out of the way with the first one.
